Step into our cozy home in Vilnius and take a seat at a shared table where food, culture, and connection come together in the most authentic way. This is more than just dinner — it’s an invitation into the heart of Lithuanian hospitality.

You’ll enjoy a 4-course homemade meal crafted from seasonal, local, and even home-grown ingredients, all rooted in family traditions and presented with a touch of modern creativity. From comforting soups to hearty mains and sweet finishes, each dish offers a warm, flavorful introduction to our country’s rich culinary heritage.

We start the evening with a warm welcome and a shot of traditional Lithuanian drink, followed by the first course served in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. As the courses unfold you’ll learn about the stories behind the dishes, Lithuania’s rich and complex history, creating a deeper cultural connection that goes far beyond the plate.

Lithuanian cold soup made with fresh beetroot, cucumber, dill, and kefir, finished with a soft-boiled egg.

TRADITIONAL POTATOE DUMPLINGS “ZEPPELINS”
Potato dumplings filled with seasoned pork topped with creamy sour cream sauce and crispy bacon bits – a beloved national specialty.

LAYERED HONEY CAKE
Multi-layered honey sponge cake with a rich and creamy filling, finished with a dusting of crumbs.

Over the course of 2.5 hours, you’ll be treated to a lovingly prepared menu of authentic Lithuanian dishes — many of which are family recipes passed down through generations. As you dine, we’ll share the cultural background of each dish, stories from local life, and warm conversation that will make you feel right at home.

We are located just 3 km from Vilnius Old Town, in a peaceful neighborhood that’s easily reachable by foot, taxi, or public transport. After booking, you’ll receive the exact address and helpful directions to make your visit easy and stress-free.

Our evening with Ruta was fantastic. She is warm and delightful. Going to Ruta’s home was very special. This was the last official night of our 6 week trip and I am so glad it was! My wife and I met Ruta and her husband at their house for dinner. We easily Bolt’d to and from their location to our old town hotel. Ruta prepared a full menu for the evening, which was an extra special touch to her cooking talent and effort. The food was excellent, but their company made the evening even more enjoyable.
