WHAT GUESTS SAY ABOUT RUTA’S COOKING CLASS
Our cooking class with Ruta was one of the highlights of our visit to Lithuania. Myself, along with my sister and our 90 year old grandmother attended. We enjoyed cooking delicious Lithuania cuisine, (cold beet soup, potato pancakes and dessert potato) but enjoyed even more visiting with Ruta and her husband. We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this class to anyone considering.
Great experience! Learned a lot about the food and the Baltics. Would recommend doing early in your trip, as Ruta offered plenty of suggestions for the remainder of our trip.
My recent home cooking experience with Ruta was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, Ruta’s warm and welcoming hospitality set the tone for an evening that was both educational and incredibly enjoyable. Ruta’s kitchen is a cozy haven filled with delightful aromas and a plethora of fresh ingredients. She guided us through each step of preparing a traditional meal, sharing her vast culinary knowledge and useful tips along the way. Her passion for cooking is evident, and it made the entire experience feel authentic and enriching. The food we prepared was delicious, and Ruta ensured that we were involved in every aspect of the cooking process. Her patience and clear instructions made it easy to follow along, even for those who are not seasoned chefs. Beyond the cooking, Ruta’s engaging personality and interesting stories made for delightful conversation, making the evening feel more like hanging out with a friend than a cooking class. This experience was a highlight of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn more about local cuisine in a friendly and inviting setting. Thank you, Ruta, for an unforgettable evening!
Our evening with Ruta was fantastic. She is warm and delightful. Like having dinner with an old friend. The cooking experience was the right balance of hands on but not too intense. We learned so much about Lithuanian lifestyle and culture. I highly recommend.
